CASA Memories

This year at CASA I had a great time. My favorite memory is in first session when Cameron,Orion,Emily,Catherine,Haley,Andrea,Kate,Megan, Julia, and I all danced to Don't Stop Believing by Journey. It was really fun because we just ran around in circles at the end. Another CASA memory is when Orion, Haley,Cameron, and I were all in Good Morning CASA. We were making glaze for the doughnuts. It was really sugary so we all were eating it and licking the bowl. Kate is another of my favorite memories. Kate always says, "I love you like a brother friend person." Orion always says, "AAAAHHHH!" I always ask how to spell a word. Lunch time is also filled with a lot of memories. We always have interesting conversations. One time we talked about yougurt. We always talk about random stuff. CASA is a great camp. I am glad that I go to camp here. There are many interesting people, like Orion. I have made many friends here at CASA. I think everyone should come to CASA camp.

James Lewis Kraft

In 1912 James L. Kraft was the first to patent pasteurized cheese. Before Kraft became one of America's most popular brand,it was called J.L. Kraft & Bros. Company. James Kraft was born near Stevensville, Ontario, Canada in 1874. After moving to Chicago in 1903 he started a cheese delivery service. He drove a horse named Paddy and supplied Chicago with dairy groceries. Kraft had to delivery his products early in the morning to keep them from spoiling. As business grew he started his own company. Kraft shredded cheddar, then heated it enough to kill the bacteria. His cheese had a much longer shelf-life. Kraft also created Velveeta in 1928,Miracle Whip in 1933, Macaroni and Cheese in 1937, and many other Kraft creations. I think that Kraft products have helped us move into the future of food.

When I Grow Up

When I grow up I want to be famous. I think I would be a great famous person because I have a very nice autograph. I think it would be really fun to be famous. I could become famous for just being cool. I could also be a photographer. I like taking pictures because you can capture the moment and relive it when you see the picture. I think it would be really fun to be a photographer. Maybe I could be a wildlife photographer. I could travel and see a lot of wild animals that people don't see everyday. I think this would be a very fun job. I hope I become a famous photographer when I grow up.

Why Twizzlers Are Yummy! (See Kate's)

"I love licorice. So when I came across a value pack of mixed Twizzlers flavors it was like Christmas came early."-Says a Candy Addict

Twizzlers are a popular fruity candy that was first invented in 1902 by The National Licorice Company. They were originally just called licorice, but in 1977 Hershey bought The National Licorice Company and created Twizzlers. In 1994 Hershey came out with one of the most popular Twizzler varieties, The Pull-N-Peel. Since then, Hershey has come out with many other varieties of Twizzlers. They have taken licorice to a new level.

Some may say, "With all that artificial stuff it's no good for you." They probably just didn't know that a study was found that black licorice can help digestion.

Twizzlers are such a popular candy that Project Runways 3rd place winner, Jillian, made a dress out of them.

Twizzlers are a delicious, popular candy that has always been part of America.

I think Twizzlers are a good candy because they taste good, and come in many flavors so I can always try something new.

Family

My family is very interesting. They are also very weird. My dog Annie is the strangest. Yesterday we took her to Rock Creek Park. She went swimming in the creek. I think she had a fun time. Annie is strange because she likes vitamin water. Her favorite flavor is jack-fruit guava. She also likes the orange kind. I have a weird family, but i am normal.
